Questions regarding looking at bridal gowns

  • Do I need an appointment?

YES! Miller Bridal encourages customers to make an appointment to try on wedding gowns. Appointments help us to ensure that customers have ample time and support from a consultant. As well as, allows us to ensure that we have a fitting room open.

  • How many people can come with me?

Sheduled appointments in the diamond room are avalible for groups of 5-8 guests. We reccomend groups of 8 or less to help keep the stress of wedding gown shopping to a minimum.

  • What should I expect when I try on for the first time?

Trying on wedding gowns can be a very emotional experiance. It is very exciting, but at times can be overwhelming. Our consultants will help listen to what you are looking for, and reccomend styles that are similar. The bride will be able to look through the rack and pull gowns that she is intrested in trying on.

  • What should I bring with me to look at wedding gowns?

It is suggested, but not requried to bring any special undergarmets that you will want to wear with your wedding gown. An example of this could be a strapless bra, shoes, shapewear, ect. Different dresses work with different undergarmets and it is not nessesary to purchase new undergarmets before you decide on a dress. We also reccomend that you bring a few ideas of dresses you may be intrested. Example: silhouette, fabric type, neckline, ect.

  • How long do wedding gowns take to come in after they are ordered?

The compaines that Miller Bridal carries take approximently 12-14 weeks from the time of being ordered. We also reccomend that you plan an additional 1-2 months for alterations. A good general rule of thumb is to order at least 6 months prior to your wedding date.

  • Can I purchase a wedding gown off the rack?

YES! Miller Bridal offers off the rack purchase. If a dress is the correct size and color purchasing off the rack is a great option. Off the rack purchases can also be benifical to brides on a time crunch.

  • How long is a wedding gown appointment?

Typically wedding gown appointments are around 1 1/2 - 2 hours long. The time spent at your appointment is determined by the number of dresses that you try on. We encourage brides to try on many dresses to help find the perfect dress. Our goal is to help you find the perfect dress, and there is no set amount of time that it takes to find the one!

  • Do you offer returns?

Unfortunetly, we do not offer returns. The formal wear industry is of very unique and delicate nature. Due to this, all sales are final. This applies to off the rack purchases and special orders. We encourage brides to take their time in selecting their dress to ensure that they are confident and happy with their selection. If a bride is unsure if the dress is the right choice for her we encourage her to take a few days to think it over before purchasing.
